Earth Care People Care and Return the Surplus. The Ethics of Permaculture.

Our “Local Billboards” Classified Ads space aims to uphold these ethics.

This website encourages the kind of ethically inspired thinking that permaculture thought evolves. Not just in our families and home gardens. But outward to inspire the creative thinking that discovers a living that provides for us, but “Does No Harm.” To find and encourage human endeavors that regenerate and invigorate the living world. To reach out, create, and cultivate “Right Livelihoods” and develop a “Permanent Culture.”

Through recognition of thoughtful use, ethical standards, gratitude, and appreciation for services/products/creations in the Flint River Watershed. We hope to strengthen economic connections and raise awareness of the niches in our community that hold these ideals dear. Ultimately, creating more resilient, abundant lives for the people and the environment of the Flint River Watershed.

“We’re only truly secure when we can look out our kitchen window and see our food growing and our friends working nearby.”

Bill Mollison

Local ingenuity, craft, and production. Identifying the local economy with good ethics and goodwill. Encouraging “Right Livelihoods”: creative, thoughtful, and respectful use of the local and limiting imported energies. Transforming the paradigm of “Mining value” to one that Regenerates. This is the Tree Crows Bottom Line!

The Flint River Watershed Needs YOU!

Of course, this attempt to build a community of Ethical Services, Markets, and Creators is a humble endeavor. It will never have the power of social media platforms. I absolutely wouldn’t want to aim for any such madness or responsibility. Our goal is much smaller in scale.
This attempt is intended as an alternative to the noise generated by large social platforms. A little garden nook to sit, view, and discover how to tend the things we have grown.
I’m not suggesting shunning social media, but, in permaculture design terms, that world could be looked at as “Zone 5”, The Wilderness! A place to observe and learn about “Nature.”

I plan to use those platforms to direct readers to this website. Via the blogposts shared from our blog. These readers will have vested interest in supporting Right Livelihoods, Permacultures, Creators, and Venors that support ethical production. Using our website like a little swale to collect the positive energies of people trying to be the change they want to see. A swale that will catch and store that energy for the benefit of the residents in the bioreagon of the Flint River Watershed.
