HOPE FLOATS FOR VETERANS, INC.
In Clio, Michigan, HFV is a life skill-building center offering community, hands-on skill development, and social re-acclimation for displaced and alienated veterans.

“We Provide Food, Housing, and a brighter future for Veterans who courageously served!” offering a “Hand Up,” not a “Hand Out.”

We are situated on a 62-acre parcel with a 10-acre lake and implementing innovative “Permaculture Design” methods such as food forests, community gardens, and construction/production skills through building our own unique floating home design. (houseboats) for our veterans.

While living on-site, we provide 24/7 one-on-one counseling for Veterans from Veterans that have gone through similar experiences. A supportive community and hands-on opportunities to learn new skills to aid in the transition to civilian life.

Hope Floats for Veterans is a Non-Profit Corporation supporting itself through the work, production, and goodwill of the community and fellowship on site. They are offering the excesses of their processes to the greater community to support its mission: inspired people, nutrient-dense produce, and creations made by the hands of men and women in transition.
